One last post from Pat
Hi, this is Pat. Today we visited the Gypsy Market and had a great time! One story... Brooke, Lauren, Cassidy, and Tess found numerous turtle necklaces. They bartered the price and got enough for each of the girls on our team. The woman selling the necklaces was somewhat cold to the girls at first but by the end of the transaction she was "loving our girls"! We asked if she would be willing to pose with the girls for a picture (which they often time refuse). She was delighted to be a part of the picture. What a wonderful memory was made today. What great girls to share their bargains with each of us.

Hi Everyone,
I haven't been able to check the blog for a couple days. Let me say that reading the blog and seeing the pictures have made me pretty emotional. Of course, I loved being able to see Brooke. Honey, you look pretty well rested and happy. This has been a faith journey for me as well as you guys!! Amazing how being the parent of one of the team has affected me. I am so thankful to God for my daughter, and how He had this planned for her long ago!! We are so far apart....but close in spirit. Thank you for the blog, the pictures, taking your time to share some of your experiences. It helps us back home feel even more connected...Thank you all for sharing the love of God. Brooke, it is so quiet at home without you. Well, the kittens are helping :). I am spoiling them :). Love to you all. I'll keep praying......Barb (Brooke's mom)
We love hearing about all the interactions you're having w/ the Romanians. God has been blessing you with a cohesive group. We'll be praying for safety in your travels to camp, good weather, and for God to wow you w/ what He can do through your willing hands.
Also, Natalie when you're in Budapest (home of the Barczi's) if your in the "neighborhood"... here is one of the parts of the Barczi medical facilities, the Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Special Education--named after one of its former directors, Gusztáv Bárczi (1890-1964), an otolaryngologist specialist and special educator. Professor Bárczi modernized the education of persons with moderate and severe mental retardation in Hungary. Eotvos Lorand University, Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Special Education
